Expressive Art Therapy for 39 children ages 4 -13 years old:
The expressive art therapy activities were held on 14 March 2022 in a rubber plantation at Kampung Kusar, Rantau Panjang, Kelantan.
Several parents were also present to assist us in these activities. We brought some colour pencils, crayons and stationery sets for the children to use during the session and then have these items away as gifts.
Hygiene kits from World Vision Malaysia and food bags were also given after the session.
Set Up of Toy Library by Toy Libraries Malaysia and Play Unlimited at the Akid Centre:
The Akid Centre located in Kampung Keting, Gunong, Bachok, Kelantan, has 25 children ages between 5-12 years old. The centre was set up a year ago during the pandemic to help the poor and orphans in the village by Ms. Amiza.
The children attend programs at the centre every Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 2:30pm to 5:00pm.
There are 2 teachers, Hidaya and Ira, who work diligently to guide the children in reading, writing and maths. These underpriviledged children were so happy and grateful for having new toys and board games to play with, after their regular lessons.
